  1. A good two-part podcast from Planet Money on recycling. Both are worth a listen, but a little disheartening! — 1) A Mob Boss, A Garbage Boat and Why We Recycle 2) So, Should We Recycle?

  2. And on a related note — What you think about landfill and recycling is probably totally wrong

  3. Some people have way too much time on their hands — People Are Photoshopping Mr. Bean Into Things, And It’s Absolutely Hilarious

  4. If you get a few spare minutes, rather than reaching for Facebook or Instagram why not check in on the bears hanging out in Katmai National Park in Alaska — Brooks Falls Brown Bears

  5. My holiday in Malta last week just happened to coincide with Malta Jazz Festival so I got to see a couple of excellent jazz bands play. This has inspired me to listen to (and attempt to play) more jazz. I'm particularly enjoying listening to Jersey by the Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet.
