I’ve based my transcription of My Number on the studio version of the track. The live version is a more energetic beast.
The studio version is very repetitive so if you want to spice things up I’d suggest varying the ride lines a little. For example try playing hand-to-hand sixteenth notes on the hi-hats rather than the straight eighth notes on the transcription. Have some fun with it, the transcription is just a guide.
